For Hand- Guided Machine Quilting, your quilt top should be squared and ready to be quilted. The lining should be at least 6 inches longer and wider than the quilt top and the batting should be the same, 6 inches longer and wider. If you do not have the lining or the batting, they can be provided.

Please remember that all quilting is "hand-guided" and some variations may occur.
Minimum quilting rate is $25.00.
Edge to Edge Quilting $0.01 Per square inch to $0.015 per square inch. The price reflects the type of pattern chosen. Samples available upon request via "snail mail" or fax.
To calculate the cost for your quilt Top:
1. Multiply the width times the length of the quilt top. This equals the total square inches.
2. Multiply the total square inches times the appropriate rate for the chosen method of quilting.
Example: 75" wide x 90" long = 6750 square inches 6750 sq. in. x .01 = 67.5 or $67.50
This service includes one pattern over entire quilt with no special border. This basic service is well suited to quilts and comforters.
Lining: You may provide your own quilt backing or we can provide that for you. We use 100% cotton muslin in 3 sizes:
45" wide $2.95 per yard 90" wide $6.95 per yard 108" wide $9.95 per yard
If you would like, we can pre-wash and press your fabric for $2.50 per yard 45 inches wide, $5.00 per yard 90 inches wide, $8.00 per yard 108 inches wide.
Batting: You can provide your own batting or we can supply that for you. We use a "Low Loft, Poly-insulate" batting, that comes in a variety of sizes.

Binding Services: If you would like binding to be applied to your finished quilt, you may provide the binding fabric yourself or we can provide it for you. See prices below. Binding is double folded, machine sewn to the top of the quilt, corners mitered and hand stitched to the back.
Binding $.15 per inch
Binding on Double Wedding Ring Quilts is $.25 per inch as these require a narrow binding and more time.
Binding fabric: Muslin $2.95 per yard Colored $4.20 per yard (Colonial Rose, Turkey Red, Colonial Blue, Daydream Blue & Spruce ~ all are Springmaid Country Charm fabrics ~ see below for fabric samples!)
Remember you only need 1 to 1 1/2 yards of fabric for binding, depending on the size of your quilt.
